Janice Cameron Godwin
Born in the village, attended Clinton/Northwest schools and graduated from Kent State University; continued her education at The University of Akron and Ashland University. She has taught school in Garfield Heights and Northwest Schools; and retired from Akron Public Schools. Jan has served the village since being appointed as a council member serving for many terms. At one time or another, she has served on all of the committees and been a member of the council since September of 1991.
